The Institute Office is the administrative department of the Beijing Institute of Heart, Lung, and Blood Vessel Diseases, which mainly coordinates with Institute management in administration, scientific research (including foreign affairs), party affairs, personnel affairs, financial affairs, and logistics. The main authority of the Institute Office is management and service: it is responsible for the management of scientific research projects (including foreign affairs as well as management of cadres and employees), for providing logistic services for scientific research projects and all employees, and for communicating with superior authorities such as the Beijing Municipal Commission of Health and Family Planning, the Beijing Municipal Commission of Science and Technology, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Finance, and other authorities. Specific responsibilities include: 

·         Coordinating Institute management in formulating and improving various rules and systems and assuming responsibility for their implementation and inspection;

·         Preparing, recording and implementing the minutes of Institute meetings and Institute-level working meetings; 

·         Submitting relevant requests, reports, and records to the Institute;

·         Ensuring inter-department contact and coordination; and

·         Arranging Institute Secretary affairs, party affairs, personnel affairs, financial affairs, and files.

Currently, the Institute office consists of Qin Yanwen, Director; Li Na, Vice Director; and Hu Gang, Wang Liyuan, Tan Zhongjie, and Wang Xinxue, members.
