Research Interests: 

Molecular etiology of CVD, and the mechanisms of cardiovascular pathological remodeling.


Principle Investigator and Projects:

As a principal investigator, Prof. Du directskey projects “Studies on the mechanism of interaction between inflammatory micro-environment and smooth muscle cells in aortic dissection” (2021/01-2024/12) from the National Natural Fund, and the role of interaction network between nucleic acid small molecules and arachidonic acid metabolic small molecules in pathological cardiac remodeling from the National Natural Fund (2018/01-2022/12), and Genetic basis of calcified aortic stenosis in European and Asian populations (2019/01-2021/12).
