he research directions in Department of Molecular Biology and Cell mainly focus on the genology and therapeutics in cardiovascular diseases. The field of the researches involves in cardioprotector, transplantation immunity, tissue engineering and so on. Pathophysiology has been built such as immunohistochemistry, cellular ultrastructual analyses,pathological section analyses. Molecular biology: nucleic acid extraction, nucleic acid electrophoresis, gene differences, gene chips, DNA sequencing, real-time quantified PCR. Cytology: all kinds of histiocytic culture, primary culture of myocardial cells, cellular tranfection. Experimental animal models: rat myocardial ischemia and reperfusion model, rat heterotopic heart transplantation model. Biochemistry and immunology: various kinds of cytokine assay. Clinical cardiovascular diseases and pharmaceutical research have been widely developed by protocols in molecular biology and cytobiology. Department of Molecular Biology and Cell has been successively undertook 16 national level or city level research items. It had the honor to get 3 Beijing science and technology progress awards and 1 international association award. More than 100 papers have been published.
